Summer Seasonal Staff

Admissions

Duties include greeting guests, answering questions about park, charging admission via computer system, giving tickets and other necessary materials to each car, explaining rules to guests, and generally acting as a gatekeeper to the park. Must be friendly and outgoing, on the job training provided. Pay starts at $9.75 an hour plus end of season bonus.

Custodial

Duties include but not limited to cleaning restrooms, emptying garbage, sweeping and mopping, cleaning tables and chairs, trash picking and overall cleanliness of public spaces. Must have valid driver’s license and able to work daytime hours both weekdays and weekends. Pay starts at $10 an hour plus end of season bonus.

Gift Shop

Duties include tagging and stocking merchandise, answering customer questions, working a register, cleaning throughout the day and after closing, serving fudge samples and purchases, and other duties as assigned. Pay starts at $9.75 an hour plus end of season bonus.

Rides and Gates

Duties include learning to operate and operating all rides, ensuring the safety of occupants and guests, maintaining rides area and providing a fun experience for guests. Gate duties include checking tickets, verbally giving rules and instruction to guests, opening and closing gates, and communicating any problems with other staff members. Pay starts at $8.75 an hour plus end of season bonus.

Snack Bar

Duties include preparing sides and sauces each day, setting up cooking appliances, taking customer orders and putting it into computer, preparing various foods such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, nachos, sodas, ice cream, etc. and serving items to guests.  Also responsible for cleaning café daily including tearing down and cleaning appliances and washing dishes. On the job training available. Food handlers certificate a plus but can be obtained during employment. Pay starts at $9.75 an hour plus end of season bonus.

Maintenance

Duties include but not limited to fencing, painting, settling posts, some car maintenance, rides maintenance, driving vehicles including heavy machinery at times, moving pipe and other irrigation needs, and other general maintenance to buildings and property. Must have valid driver’s license and able to work daytime hours both weekdays and weekends. Experience preferred but not necessary, some on the job training available. Pay starts at $12 to $15 an hour depending on experience.
